An Evening with Barry Lyndon

HYDE PARK, MA, March 14, 2017 - You know the Stanley Kubrick standards. A Clockwork Orange. 2001. The Shining. Even Eyes Wide Shut seems to be getting a bit of a reevaluation recently. But when is the last time you saw Barry Lyndon? Whenever it was, you didn't see it with a live performance by a 50-piece orchestra, at the newly-renovated and insanely gorgeous Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, approved by the Kubrick Estate, in association with Warner Bros., and all lovingly conceptualized by producer - and one of my closest friends - Joseph A. Berger (Madonna: Truth or Dare 25th Anniversary, Lypsinka: The Boxed Set).

This bound-to-be-memorable night is a one-time only event, and takes place the evening of Saturday, the Eighth of April, 2017. It also starts at 8pm, so this should be very easy for you to remember, with all these number eights flying around. Tickets are now on sale via Ticketmaster, and through March 19, you can use the discount code BARRYIRISH to unlock select seating at up to 30% off.

Oh, and to answer the biggest question you may have: yes, I will be there. Will you get to see me? Sure, if the price is right. Ha. For more details and information, put your eyes on this coverage from IndieWire, and check out the write-up from Wordless Music, the orchestra performing this unique event.
