PORTLAND, OR - It felt like a weak year for film based on quantity, but the quality is where it counts.
As the year went on I found myself going to the cinema a lot less in 2018, at least it seemed that way. There just wasn't a lot inticing me enough to get out of whatever house I happened to be living in at any given moment in this crazy year. But when I did, it paid off, and alas here is my annual list of what I think you - people with far more precious time on their hands - should check out if you were already so inclined and can set aside a few hours.
Before you click on that precious link though, the trailer I've posted here is for the WORST movie of the year, 'Red Sparrow.' Anyone who knows is aware I view Jennifer Lawrence as a gift from the gods. But not here. What a boring shit show of a film. Bad, Jennifer! BAD!
