The Daily Ghost Radio Hour

I love sharing music. Annoyingly so, I'm confident most would tell you. Posting tracks on Facebook, email blasts clogging friends' accounts, clips on Instagram, albums of the year lists - anything to share the love of music I have, with the love everyone else has.

Evolution has now brought me though to this point, where I'm excited and frightened to introduce ...

THE DAILY GHOST RADIO HOUR.

I know, I know. Everyone and their mother (dead or alive) has a podcast. I'm certain my mother is spinning the Broadway cast recording of HAIR out there in the great beyond as I write this. So it's about time for me to jump in the fray and share music the way it's supposed to be heard: on the .... "radio."

The first episode (and only, so far) is most certainly a first episode. I didn't do a test run, I didn't practice ANYTHING - from really learning the equipment, to doing a proper show outline. I just jumped into it, and boy oh boy does it show. But I learned a lot as I went along, and this just how I want it - with you taking this journey with me. Will I ever get better? Will I properly prepare? Will I ever stop rambling? Will I do a show while NOT intoxicated? Will it all end in tears? Let's see how it goes.

What's most important though is that sharing of music. You'll hear me in this episode struggle through the pronunciation of "eclectic" - but at least I can spell it, because that is my aim, to represent my relatively eclectic taste. I say that knowing my taste is not really that eclectic in the grand scheme of things, but I plan to "spin" tracks from goth to metal, from electronic to shoegaze, from soundtrack rarities to straight-up film scores, and "much more." There will even be guests in the future! And perhaps from time to time we won't just do music - the possibilities are endless.

So, won't you join me? It's going to be quite a bumpy ride, but the tunes should be good, and hey - one can always enjoy a laugh at the expense of ... me. I don't have "big plans" to make this a "thing" - I am doing it for fun, for friends and acquaintances. Maybe it grows past that - odds are most certainly NOT in favor of that - but I hope my close circle enjoys this long ride. It's going to be weird.the
