Oh, hi. How are you? Best year ever, right?
I am unfortunately not all that inspired this year to do these best of posts, to be frank. So many reasons:
1 - Pandemic blues
2 - Stuck inside blues
3 - Trump blues
4 - Grappling with the fact half the people you know are fascists.
5 - Not the best year for music.
6 - Not the best year for film.
7 - My best of the year show had technical difficulties to the point of cutting it short.
8 - That, and no one tuning in results in no inspiration to give it another go.
9 - No one reads these posts anyway.
So, I am reducing this down quite drastically for 2020. Fitting, of course. Will this continue in 2021? Who knows! Perhaps I'll be one of the 500,000 (minimum) to be dead by this time next year. Morbid, yes. But, reality. Stay tuned!
