Trump unveils new US flag

A DAILY GHOST EXCLUSIVE

BOSTON, Ma., Jan. 20, 2017 - In an exclusive from The Daily Ghost, images leaked from the administration of incoming US President Donald John Trump show what design Americans can expect from the next flag of the United States, set to be announced and unveiled Monday in a ceremony in the White House Rose Garden.

In order for critics, the media and the entirety of the general public to understand "there are consequences for insubordination and hostility towards the new American government", as announced today by White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer, Donald Trump worked with internationally acclaimed German graphic designer Knaught Zipig in the design of the new flag.

Mr. Trump, in using the recent personal "attacks" towards him as a weapon on his detractors, designed the flag to reflect his two main physical attributes that have come under such intense scrutiny since announcing his candidacy in June of 2015. The background of the new flag will represent the now legendary mandarin spray-tan hue of his skin. The two lines of silhouettes shaped like Trump's famous hair mop serve as a modern tribute to the ancient symbol sometimes referred to as the gammadion cross. Lastly, the white circle in the center is designed to represent the new president's favorite flag from history; the vexillologist turned leader of the free world is known to have admired the simplicity and boldness of the German marine jack from the first half of the 20th century. "Beautiful, just beautiful. Elegant really, wouldn't you say? It was bigly for Germany, and now it will help Make America Great Again. That I can tell you," said President Trump.

The new flag is being shipped "free of charge" beginning Monday to every resident of the United States in order to comply with new US code requiring the American flag to be flown in front of the residence of each homeowner in the United States, Puerto Rico and its outlying territories, as well as the remaining American embassies and consulates throughout the world.
